The Buffalo News reports on this program for fifth and sixth graders at Gilmore Elementary School where for every 10 minutes of physical activity, pupils get a Fitness Buck, which they can use to bid on sporting equipment at a silent auction that will be held at the end of the program.

that an association representing more than 200 large public universities is expected to vote today and possibly recommend that its member colleges adopt standardized tests and within four years begin to publish the results.
I do not like this at all. I think after school we should skip this kind of exams.

Steven Van Zandt who is apart of the E Street Band has set up this foundation to help get a middle-and high-school curriculum designed to introduce a new generation of teens to the music into classrooms.
