The article looks at one kid named Jodie who has some medical problems and after two years of fighting to goto a private school by the parent finally got to go to the private school. That cost to the school district though is 170,000 grand a year.

failed to pass the MCAS science exam. Around 7,100 students are going to have to take this exam in next spring. The students have to pass this exam or they do not graduate from high school.

The link shows that college students graduating with over 40,000 grand in college debt is on the rise. In 2006 they say that 77,552 students have accumulated this high of a debt level.

The Senate is looking at colleges like Harvard that have supersized endowments. The senate wants to know why tuition at these schools are not going down.
I fully agree with the Senate on this. Harvard makes so much money per year on the endowment it has it can pay for more than 100% of the tuition for all the college students that go to the school.
