The Atlanta Journal-Constitution at how this school turned around poor math and reading scores in order to be called a blue ribbon school.
The schools in the report all come from the New York City Area and enroll more students that are higher in poverty. Each school has around 400 students each in them. The data they found showed better attendance records and higher on-time graduation rates as well.
The population taking online classes has grown by 10% over the past year and that nearly 20% of all college students are taking at least one online college class in the fall of 2006. Around 33% of higher education institutions accounted for 3/4 of all online classes taken.
