College Savings Foundation Report…
is out for the 2007 year and they say that 54% of parents have saved less than 5 grand for their kids college education. 44% say that it will take 5-10 years to pay off the college loan debt, but 28% say it will 10-20 years to pay if off.
The report got into some age bracketed data and it shows that the younger you are the more likely the parent feels that a student going to college is going to pay off all of the college loan debt in 5-10 years.
