in Connecticut that offer 2-year degrees in Nursing are all going to join together to have one curriculum and admission policy for the fall 2008 semester. Students will wind up taking 68 credit hours in four semesters.
I think this is a great idea.

in the local area and New York State. The article says that last year only 25% took vocational education classes in the state, down from 41% in 1992. In the local area it is down to around 29%.

The AP reports on this activist that hates the annual U.S. News & World Report guide to the nation’s “best” colleges and universities. He has gotten 62 schools to agree with him.
He states that colleges have been turned into a product, students into customers, and admissions into a high-priced game that has to be played. I have to fully agree with him here.
