Some Teachers Talk Back Show Comments…

June 17, 2007 By: richard.ginn Category: Uncategorized

I thought this was a nice short show. The show touched on many topics students complained about such as school lunches, homework, standardized tests, boring classes, and poor materials. Boring classes was the number one complaint by students who were polled.

In the homework segment they showed one teachers that gives no homework. He said that grades are up in his class. One teacher said he does not give out homework on Fridays.

Teachers agreed with students on materials. One teacher actually said he liked school lunch.

On the standardized testing segment the students said they did not like it, but the some of the teachers said the test tie into bonus money.

Teachers were asked what they would be if they were not a teacher. One wanted to design clothes, one wanted to be a sports broadcaster.
