and History is out. The report shows that scores are barely moving since 1998 in grades 8 and 12. Some upward movement was found in the 4th grade.

on blacks in Ohio. They recommend that that African-American boys get their own distinct category, extend the school day and year for schools in distressed communities, and get more African-American male teachers to serve as role models. I can agree to to those terms.

They report stats saying that for every 100 black students that enter the 9th grade in a Cleveland Ohio High school 47 of them will graduate from high school, but only 4 students will wind up with a college degree in six years.

The reports gets into social problems students have. This problem also has to be fixed in order to get better grades and better graduation rates out of these students.

I found this report to be nice read.
