approved an 8% tuition increase for the fall semester.

is getting a 100 million gift to pay the tuition for low income students. Around 800 students a year with a family income under 60 grand will get full scholarship money while around 400 student will get partial scholarship money with family income under 75 grand. This money is going to around 25% of the undergraduate population and will last for 15 years.

a forum at the Columbus Convention Center in order to find a way to have a better high school graduation rate. The article states that in Ohio’s largest cities that black graduation rate is only 60% while the white graduation rate is 73%.

In a related article the Gov. says he wants no more throw away young people.
