The Boston Globe reports on this school that is letting students who have failed only certain classes a change to take them again in a sub-10th grade level. Students in this grade level do not have to take the MCAS exam.
I am going to give this idea a total thumbs up.

that the average spending per student on education in the USA is $8,701 bucks. New York is tops with spending $14,119 per student with Utah at the low end spending 5,257 per student..
