in order to create a math test using shared standards. The states have not decided at this poijt of time which students are going to have to take this exam.
I think this is a great first step. I hope this brings in more states as time goes on. Start out with the third grade imo and then ad more exams at higher grade levels as time goes on.

The Sacramento Bee reports on this program that is given out to middle school and high school students in order to get them ready for engineering. The article states that 56% of students that go through this program select engineering as a college major.

more on the student loan mess. The article states that Student Loan Xpress company had a plan to get a bigger share of the lucrative student loan business and that plan was to market colleges and financial aid offices.
Also in student loan mess news the Arizona Republic reports that ASU is dumping a revenue-sharing deal with a loan company.
