The News & Observer reports on this school that has all k-12 grades in it. The school is overcrowded at this point of time and are going to spin-off a K-5 school.

are going to approve a plan that will focus on math and science upgrades. It will not have extra pay for teachers in those fields though.

Exxon Mobil Corp. Wants To Spend…

125 million bucks to create a National Math and Science Initiative. The program hopes to encourage math and science majors to become teachers.

The Washington Post also has an article up on this as well where they say that selected schools across the USA can get money for passing grades on an AP exams in math and science.

I hope IB classes are not left behind as well.

is going to double the pool of money paid to doctors that go and teach. The article states that some of the teachers only get paid 30 bucks an hour which far below what they could make at a hospital.
