has released its newest survey on college freshman.  The report says that almost 50% of students who have been accepted to their first choice school are going to their second choice school.  They also say that more students this year are working at least part time to pay for college.

The league for 9-14 year olds is a collaboration between LEGO Group and For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.  It reaches around 90,000 people in 45 countries.

that a record amount of students are now taking physics classes in high school.

that the amount of black students that are graduating from college is 43% and that a big gap still persists between white and black college student graduation rates.  11% more black females graduate then black men do.

The report does show off one graph with some sad stats on it though.  It showcases the poor rates of graduation of black students in historically black colleges and universities.  Most of them listed were under thr 50% graduation mark.

This report is a good read.
