have a new report out on the college education system.  They say that for every 100 ninth graders that go to school only 18 of them finish college in six years.

They say that states need to rethink college funding, aid, and college debt levels which have more than doubled in ten years. The report also says that a change has to be made to the twelvth grade to something like early college high schools or dual enrollment schools.

The Christian Science Monitor has an article on this report.
