that less than 50% of Hispanic students are on track to be proficient in reading.  Only 46.7% of Elementary Hispanic student will be on the proper reading level when they read the middle school years.

can now go online to get help from a tutor right away. Students who usae the HomeworkKansas.org website can get help in math, sciene, English and social studies. All you need to access this service is a library card number and a pin.

I like this idea and more states should do the same thing.

new report up on the teacher strike.  They say that Girls Varsity Basketball and Varsity Mens Football is going to go on as scheduled.  All other sports will not.

Southwestern High senior Ronald Woodland says that school closures are a waster of time and that he does not want to transfer to another school.

Why only allow two sports to go on????  Either all sports go on or none go on.  That is only fair.
