have a report up the was funded by the Wallace Foundation.  8,446 schools in 1,624 schools nationwide need academic improvement that recieve title 1 funding.

They go into what a few states try to do fix this problem like in the state of Pennsylvania where they send special educators to schools for two years.

The report includes a map of the USA where they show where all the schools that get title 1 funding that need academic improvement.
