are going over to Southern High School to fill up vacancies in math and science classes.  Some of the teachers will get a 5,000 a semester bonus for teaching the classes.  The students though will get access to labs at the college and tutors.

A Test Given Out To Students….

in California by the California State University system shows that students are more ready to handel college level math than English.  Only 55% of the people tested were proficient in math while only 25% were proficient in English.  60,000 Exams though have not been fully scored yet due to a failed bubble fill.

want only one way to test schools to see if they are good or not.  The state is using one way to test a school based on rules mandated by the state Legislature in 1993 and they are also testing schools based on the NCLB bill.

I would say the state would have to use the testing rules from the NCLB.
