More Schools In The State Of….

Pennsylvania are meeting NCLB goals. 2,458 out of 3,121 met goals up from 2,330 last year.

I will say this is one the few states I have seen so far that has seen an improvement in meeting NCLB rules.

That the No Child Left Behind bill is close to perfect and does not need any changes.

I would like to know what drugs she was on when she said that statement. The “Highly Qualified Teacher” part of the bill has been a flop. States all across the USA are reporting more schools are failing. I still say we need national set standards for students which is not even in the bill.

21 schools in the elementary and middle school level are not meeting NCLB standards. All ten middle schools in Providence are included.

nearly 3 times the amount of the schools in the state of Arizona now fail NCLB rules.

rural areas and the limited options that they have to fix failing schools.

The article brings up a great point: What do you do when you are in a rural area with no school districts close by, only one or two schools in the school district and they all meet NCLB rules for transferring of students to another school????

amount of schools that did not meet NCLB rules occurred in the state of Michigan.

297 failed in 2004, 436 in 2005 and now 544 in 2006.
