is protesting the “No Child Left Behind” rule for testing immigrants.

a Bush administration education official says the NCLB law is beyond repair.  he says that government can’t force states to do things they do not want to do.

on Monday to discuss the NCLB bill. Bush says that he agree to work on addressing some of the major concerns with the bill.

the Secretary Of Education was out at U.S. Chamber of Commerce today to talk about this bill.  The people at CSPAN have video up of her speech and her Q&A session.  I will make some comments on it after I look at it.

Also the people at USA Today and the Christian Science Monitor have up big articles on this bill.

The school has added reading coaches in order to help meet NCLB rules.

NCLB bill has been released by the Center on Education Policy.  Some effects include teachers making progress on making sure they are “highly qualified”, higher state test scores, and schools are spending more time on math and reading then on some other subjects.
