a cover story on the NCLB bill. It looks at how to fix the bill.

Included in this link they have a map of the USA that shows each state and the NAEP sores vrs the state testing scores. Only a couple sates have a national score better than a state score. The worst state is Tennessee with a 66 point difference between the state and the NAEP score.

I found this article to be a great read. It touched on many issues like AYP that need to be fixed.

on English Language Learners in Fairfax Virginia taking the same exam as regular students are. Earlier this year this school district was fighting for extra time for the ELL students before they had to take this exam, but they backed down from this fight.
