More Schools In The Minneapolis School District….
are not meeting the Annual Yearly Progress standards in the NCLB bill. 31 schools this year meet standards while 42 met standards a year ago.

are going to take place when the bill comes up for renewal next year says a panel that is looking at this bill. Discussion over national set standards took place.
New York English Test Scores…..
are dropping big time in the sixth grade. The drop in grades can easily cause them to not meet NCLB “Annual Yearly Progress” goals.
68% of third graders passed the exam while only 49.3% of eighth graders pass the exam.
Parents In The State Of Texas…..
want only one way to test schools to see if they are good or not. The state is using one way to test a school based on rules mandated by the state Legislature in 1993 and they are also testing schools based on the NCLB bill.
I would say the state would have to use the testing rules from the NCLB.
