says that they have a higher amount than average of men in the nursing program. The article states that nationwide only 6% of men are nurses.

in the video section of the website they have a report up called “Where’s the Nurse?” It is a short pieces on the lack of school nurses in the school system.

They visit one place where they have one nurse for six schools.

a recent article up on a nursing camp for teens at Tacoma General Hospital. Out of the 200 students that wanted to get into this camp only 86 was able to get in.

Students who want into this camp needed to send in a transcript, attendance records, and send in an essay.

The camp lasts for four days and they get to spend time as they shadow nurses and doctors.
