A grand total of 41,227 suspensions occurred in the 2006-2007 school year.<\/p>\n<p>They say in the 2006-2007 school year on any given day 4,100 students were suspended. <\/p>\n<p>The lower the social economic ladder the school district the more suspensions you got.<\/p>\n<p>Around 66% of the suspensions were for &#8220;school policy violations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Black and Hispanic students were suspended far greater than Whites and Aisians.<\/p>\n<p>15% of special education students got suspended while only 6% of regular education kids did.<\/p>\n<p>Ninth grade saw the highest amount of suspension, then it dropped to a lower number in 10th 11th, and 12th grade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>with a report looking at suspended kids in the Connecticut.
