A 22% drop in 5 years.  39% are worried which is up 20% over the past five years.  Most important issue for them is jobs.<\/p>\n<p>4.5 hours spent per week by high school students on homework.<\/p>\n<p>79% of high school students say that pressure to get good grades is a problem for them.<\/p>\n<p>67% of students say they mostly get B&#8217;s on the report card.<\/p>\n<p>70% of high school students say they want to go to a four year college sometime after high school.<\/p>\n<p>Only 49% thought of becoming a teacher.<\/p>\n<p>More students then ever are spending at least 10 hours on homework.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>the 2008 State of Our Nation&#8217;s Youth survey.
