Only a couple places showed a drop in the endowment.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nacubo.org\/documents\/research\/Average%20Annual%20Calculated%20Spending%20Rate_2007%20NES.pdf\" title=\"nacubo.org\">spending rate<\/a> though from colleges on the list with an endowment over 500 million is a cruddy 4.4%.<\/p>\n<p>This easily shows a whole lot more can be spent by a hundreds of this schools.
