The report does look at a bunch of other surveys done on areas outside of UTAH on teacher attrition.<\/p>\n<p>The UTAH Foundation was able to get data from three schools districts inside the state.  Top reasons these school district gave for teachers leaving the area was a residency change, retirement, or pregnancy.  The number 1 reason they gave to stop teacher attrition was better salary and benefits.
