Included in this special report is a video looking at 4 community college students which also get an article writeup.<\/p>\n<p>The one on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/04\/22\/education\/edlife\/22merrow-profile-1.html\" title=\"New York Times\">bartender<\/a> from California had an interesting fact in it.  The bartender says that 3 out four applicants immediately get accepted, but wind up on a waiting list.  The San Diego City College president says that it is not uncommon up and down the state to have wait lists that go two and three years out.<\/p>\n<p>That right there certainly showcases the total lack of classrooms and teachers needed to solve the crisis that can easily occur when the baby boomers in the nursing field retire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by the New York Times.
