They look at only the 9, 13, and 17-year olds.<\/p>\n<p>The reports shows that racial gap is not really getting any lower for both math and reading.<\/p>\n<p>9 and 13 year olds in reading when it comes to the lowest performers did have a nice bump up in scores in the past four years though.
