The Condition Of Education 2008 Report Is Out….

from the NCES. The reports says:

That we have almost 50 million students in the public school system now and is projected to move up to 54 million by 2017.

It shows a bigger percentage of people have a bachelor’s degree.

20% of 5-17 year olds speak a different language than English at home.

They show a massive jump in the amount of students earning a bachelor’s in business from the 1996 to the 2006 years.

They also show a massive jump in the amount of students earning a master’s in business and/or a master’s in education from the 1996 to the 2006 years.

They show that the percentage of college students aged 16-24 working has fluctuated around the 46% mark over the past few years, but the amount working 20-34 hours has increased while people working over 34 hours has remained flat.
