Connecticut Virtual Learning Center Article….

The New Haven Register reports on this new online school being created in the state of Connecticut. The school is being funded by an 850,000 buck grant and is going to offer 21 classes in its first semester.

looks at a couple websites College Portrait (www.voluntarysystem.org) and U-CAN (www.ucan-network.org).

The websites give loads of information on each college they look at. Data includes cost of going to the school, financial aid, student-teacher ratio, etc….

The one problem is not all schools are listed and it would be best if you only had one website that combined all the data from both website. This is a great idea for people looking at what college to go to.

grade disparities in school districts peeving parents. In the Fairfax school district you need a 94-100 for an A grade, but in the Montgomery school district you only need to score at least a 90.

I do not like this at all.
