The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports on this high school that has over 4,000 students and needs 53 trailers to house the extra students.

I will 100% say that is too many students for one school!!!

Souther Education Foundation Releases….

a report on education in the south after hurricane Katrina.

From the report they say that for the 2006-2007 school year 10-15 thousand students may have missed all or most of the school year. In the 2005-2006 college year around 45-54 thousand students missed a semester and around 1 in 6 Louisiana college students dropped out the full year.

The report includes loads of graphics including a chart of the USA how many displaced college students each state picked up.
