is out with a report looking at the charter schools in the state.

Some findings from the report:

They say that charter school teachers in state make over 11 grand less on average than teachers who were not teaching in a charter school.

The average teaching experience at a charter school was 6.53 years vrs 11 years for public school teachers in the state.

56% of the charter schools in the state received either a high or excellent rating from the state.

When it come to CSAP scores for reading, writing, and math the charter schools did better in grades 3-8, but the public schools did better in grades 9 and 10.
